sorry i never got back to you sooner but that cheesy little over shift bushing goes on the end of the shift fork shaft. under the transmision cover i just noticed that you didn't know where it went go to m.tc or m.r.e and you can download instructions for everything they sell i have a binder full of all the instructions for my airshifter stuff, all my dyna stuff any of the major components that i have on my bike or any that are on the guy's i race with and years ago i got the brainy idea to get all my install and trouble shooting stuff laminated and the i put it all in a big binder that is getting fuller every year. so when i go to the track i'm pretty much set-up. so it is fixed and it was no problem then other than it had to take a trip. then our work here is done i guess. glad to hear it all worked out.

by the way it's not the space shuttle it's just a freakin old air cooled bike that can always be fixed i've broken a few things over the years and i always managed to fix it at some later date.

I'll get it fixed sooner than later I HOPE :) And the over shift bushing problem I was having is when I took the trans door off I put the bushing in my tool box and then when I went to get it it wouldn't fit, I was trying to put a 1977 KZ 1000 bushing in it(That won't work)Because the MKII-GPZ1100-J model 1000 and KZ1000-R uses a different bushing and I didn't know it. Damn bushing about drove me nuttier :P
