when installing the cams and chain for timming, is the pin count the same ase the kz's? 28th pin.
76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

28th pin is what I put mine on.:) Its a 79 MKII with stock crank motor fired rite up;) ...Now I have more problems:woohoo:
1974 Z1 with a MKII And a 1105 big bore kit 10.5 to 1 comp. Andrews 2x cams ported head dyna s with green coils V&H sidewinder pipe airshifter 4in.over arm

My CC seal was leaking so I pulled the trans door off and found a stress crack in my shifter boss
1974 Z1 with a MKII And a 1105 big bore kit 10.5 to 1 comp. Andrews 2x cams ported head dyna s with green coils V&H sidewinder pipe airshifter 4in.over arm

Yes i have a 16 tooth mkl1 crank and mk11 cam gears.
Just needed to verify pin count.

counter shaft seal is what I meant by CC Sorry. And the shifter boss is inside the trans. door where their is a hole that the shift shaft slides into.
