case boring

as soon as i get my transmission undercut i will be ready to put my cases back together. Money is tight so i am doing this build piece by piece. I bought a set of gpz1100 cylinders so that i could press the sleeves in to my 79 kz cylinders. The only other thing i will need to have done before the cases can go back together is have the upper cases bored for the gpz sleeves. The guy i am having the machine work done at said the sleeves must be in a block so he can check his work. Basically what i want to know is if the sleeve spacing from the j style cylinder blocks is the same as the earlier blocks so i can have the upper case bored without having to press the sleeves into my kz block right away.

jordan isn't the outside diameter of the 1100 sleeve's larger than the o.d. of the 1000 sleeves?i am thinking that you need to push all the sleeves out and probably have the 1000 cyls. bored to accept the 1100 sleeves then have the case boring done.not sure,just wondering.
