Exhaust emmissions block off plate

I already understand what will happen if I put these on performance wise and, I already have them blocked, but it isn't so pretty.
1979 KZ650, Mac 4-2 exhaust. Restored after 25 years of sitting. Dyna elec coils, ignition. As old as I am, been in the family since new.

APE Performance,you might contact them and see if they dont make the plates for the 650s.Another option is finding stainless steel or chrome acorn nuts large enough fit over air-hose tubes,and JB Weld The nuts into place making sure to seal the nuts completely.You also need the reed plates in place to keep back pressures and exhaust gasses in their respective ports.I have seen some block off plates for kz1000's for the emmisions on the top of the valve cover. Ape makes a set for them. Any Idea where I could find a set for my KZ650? Or even if the kz1000 ones will fit (I don't think they will but don't know for sure)?

check to see how your crank case is vented below the air box.it may need a little k&N filter if the stock air box is gone.
