i really need this part! was created by kawsakiman
is anyone here doing away with their kickstarter on a 900/1000?
i really need the stop plate for mine.
it bolts to the upper case half.
i am in real desperate need for one.
i lost mine and " borrowed " one from my builder for now.
i need one, you set the price but please keep it fair.
if i can't replace the one he gave me he will take it back.
and i just can't run without a kickstart.
i will post pictures of the part i need tommorrow.

someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.

in the above picture it's the small part on the bottom that is held on with the two 10 mm bolts.
very bottom of picture, rear of the case.
for some reason i just can't figure out how to circle it. i'm really not to good with this contraption.
anyone care to help?

I was wondering the same thing myself...where this part was.

that's the part sandy.
so can you teach me how to do that now?

a whole dollar plummen?
wow!
guess i got to put the knueter valve off a couple of weeks.

bad,bad news everyone.
i did a mod to the shift drum so i have neutral on bottom and the shifts are just 5 straight up.
the detent for the shift drum got a little boogered and i had to order a tap so i can clean the threads up.

16 x 1.0 thread pitch. how many times will i ever need that tap again?

fricking $30 for a tap i will use once.

what can you do? i need it so i ordered it.
there is not one in the city or i would've paid $50 today so i could've got it done.
now i have to wait 3-5 days.
damnit!

either case, i still need the stop.
my partner/builder asked me not to post pictures of the whole build here so if anyone wants them, just e-mail me at
kawsakiman@rochester.rr.com and i will send pictures to you.

btw, none of you EVER tell the wife how much i'm really spending on this motor.
( you know who you are )

btw plummen, call me , we got a deal we need to finalise.

someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.

if you have the tap you will never need it again but if you don't have it these kind of things will happen over and over. not murphy's law but mine.

As far as editing the pic,Steve...right-click,and chose "Edit"...should open up the (saved) pic in the Paint prog, and from there, you do your editing.Lots of options, and you can even resize the pic if it's too big for posting, etc.

Here's what you'll see when you right-click,and chose edit...

I used the paintbrush,to form a thicker edge on the red circle, btw.
And down at the bottom, you can chose different colours.

Oh,AND...what the Wifes email addy,bud?
