I like the Easy Clutch design better but not sure it would fit our controls, mostly for HD... I haven't found anything for KZ's or sports bikes that are similar.

bill_wilcox100, I have seen these over at Z1, easy to install as depicted in the write up?

Are you feeling that much of an easier pull or just a little?

Thanks,

the easy pull clutch works very well a realy good freind of mine has a very bad shoulder injury and never will git full use of his left arm,he races cross country and hare scrambles dirt bikes and has used one of these unit's for years he has said that if it wasn't for the easy pull clutch he would of had to quit racing years by the way his arm is half the size of his right arm and his shoulder is basicly fused. also he is over 65 years old and his goal is to keep racing until he is 70. by the way barnett clutch paks are great for the street but suck at the track. and all i have ever used are stock springs that are shimmed up to give more preload on the spring.if you are pulling the basket look at installing a heavy duty spring and rivit kit in the basket. if you check your primary drive gear im pretty sure you will find there is extra play in it and the springs in the backing plate will be loose. you can get the kits from a.p.e, m.t.c or falicon.

OMR, installation is as advertised... a piece of cake. B)

I have not found that this makes it easier to pull however. The pull weight seems just about the same to me... but we have long winters here in Montreal to remember/forget all but the biggest improvements/changes.

I added this kit with a view to improving long term reliability, as if after surviving 32 years, this was necessary.

Best of success. :)

Thanks Bill, that's what I figured regarding the pull...

Here's what I was wanting or thinking versus the easy pull for it sure would look better.... Need to find out if it would fit our controls...

that looks pretty cool it would make every body stop and take a second look if nothing else and omr did you notice it comes in chrome. it kind of makes it look you has a clutch master on the bike, like i said it make people look twice.

i have nice variety of tools but what exactly do i need to change the clutch plates? do i need to pull out the whole basket to change the plates? if i don't should i pull the basket out anyways? timebomb said to install a heavy duty spring and rivet kit, what's this and a link to where i can get it? this one might sound stupid...can i drain the oil and start the work and let it sit a few days before i finish it,you know, no oil in the crankcase, something will dry up,anything? lastly, well maybe not,are there any write ups with pics on doing the work, just so i can get an idear on how its done? i read the manual but I'm a step by step with pics kinda person and the manual doesn't cut it for me...thanks
