Kz 400 mac megaphone mufflers on stock head pipes?

I really hate the mac head pipes on my kz 400, will the mac megaphone pipes fit on the stock head pipes?

I cannot say that they will for certain, but I want to tell you that I have an old set of pipes/mufflers that came with my first 400... they are MAC mufflers, welded on to stock header pipes... I don't know it they welded them for convenience or because they *had to*... But the pipes are 1 1/2", and the MACS look to be a perfect slip on for that size...

Ok, cool. That what i thought but i wasnt sure. The mufflers on my stockers are all messed up because the p.o, sum how pryed out the baffles and buggered up the ends.

They fit!!!!!!!!! Armed with my angle grinder i cut the stock messed up mufflers off and the mac's slipped right on, i used all the hardware from the mac pipes.

yahoo,another major catastrope averted have you ridden that old thing yet!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL......Still has the drag pipes, and i am riding it tommorow rain or shine.
