i dont know if this will help, but heres mine....
it fits where the reflector used to be and the bolt above the reflector if for the upper part and
that bolt goes through the frame....i m guessing this is from back in the day cause the cooler and mounts are one piece and it fits like a glove...i havent seen any for sale similar in my online travels.....

Here's one way using two eye-bolts to hold a fabbed plate with cooler bolted to the plate. :)

I do recall seeing within the last couple of years a professionally made forged aluminum "bracket" being sold out there somewhere. And it looked techno cool all right, but a little clunky in comparison to the Simple Simon versions. And not within my ability to copy.

Will attempt to locate the pro version and post any info found. :)

Patton,

American Classix used to carry something I recall, but I couldn't find it on their site. I think they originally came from Klasmo part # 39062300Z . American Classix had a better picture.

Hope this helps a little. The long bolt goes thru the existing sleeve throu your frame just in front of the horn. Then the flat spot on the two aluminum chunks are tap so you bolt the oil cooler to them.

Was unable to locate the "professionally" made oil cooler mount, so will describe it from distant memory.

Two fairly thick aluminum pieces shaped like toy car tires are used instead of the eye bolts. And the little aluminum "tires" are held in place just like the eye bolts (a long screw through the oem frame hole used like an axle with a "tire" on each end.)

So at this stage, there's just a little aluminum "tire" on each side of the frame hole instead of an eye bolt on each side.

Threaded holes were tapped into the "tread" portion of the aluminum "tire" pieces whereby the cooler could be mounted with two bolts through the cooler into the tapped holes threaded into the "tread".

I perceived no advantage compared to the simple eye bolts, and the eye bolts afforded as much or more leeway in mounting.

Good Luck! :)
