Hey guys Im new here I just rebuilt the top half of my 80 KZ750 LTD H1...... My question is does the cross pipe on the exhaust necessary to have on there or not? The little nipple on the left side sitting on bike broke off into the pipe, and I am pretty sure its rusted so cant get it welded I am trying to just get it inspected and when I recover from the expences of the rebuild I will look into getting new exhaust.... Is there an exhaust that I can buy without rejetting?

The cross over is there to balance out the exhaust pulses and "fools" the engine into thinking it has a larger exhaust. The bike would run OK without it, better with it. Not the best but MAC has ok exhaust systems
