well i belive i am fucked ... i got all the pices of the sprocket out of the engine and put it all together to make sure nothing was missing.....well trying to turn the engine over by hand it still only goes about 70% of the way.. its still hitting on something.... and me not knowing much about engines does not want to have to take the engine apart... i just soooo ready to junk the whole bike

Instructions for riding a KZ1100 1) sit on bike, 2) start bike and idle till warm, 3) pull in clutch, put in gear, 4) release clutch and rip on the throttle, 5)VERY IMPORTANT!!HOLD THE F*** ON!!!, 6) Enjoy!! Side effects may include whiplash, wrinkle free skin and an evil smile resembling the"Joker"

If you don't have another sprocket on there it could be locking up on the cam chain at the bottom of the lower sprocket, or you might have a small piece of sprocket down there you missed.

You could try re-positioning the chain, and if that don't do it, take off the oil pan and look.
