Today i took the engine off the bike AGAIN lol... and what i found was 1/2 of the canshadt gear broke off and is stick the pice was removed.... now ware can i get a new gear online ?

Instructions for riding a KZ1100 1) sit on bike, 2) start bike and idle till warm, 3) pull in clutch, put in gear, 4) release clutch and rip on the throttle, 5)VERY IMPORTANT!!HOLD THE F*** ON!!!, 6) Enjoy!! Side effects may include whiplash, wrinkle free skin and an evil smile resembling the"Joker"

The bike dismantlers sell that stuff cheap. You should be able to get the whole camshaft and gear for less than $50. One of them offered me a good used head with camshafts , valves, springs and valve covers for for my 750 twin at a price of $100.

Another trick: go to bike bandit and get the Kawi part number and enter that number into Google.

Is that all you want, a camshaft sprocket??

I'm pretty sure I have a couple of them, one intake and one exhaust. I'll go take a look and be right back.

Yep, have them and they are on 81-82 KZ1000 LTD cams, so I'm pretty sure they will fit.

You want a set of GPZ1100 cams to go with them? I have those also :D

part # is 12046-1025 but its for a 1983 kz 1000 plice.. will it still work .. on kawasaki's website they dont list my bike under their part digrams

Kawasaki.com lists a 1983 shaft in the parts diagrams, isn't that your bike?
