I don't think that's the cause but I would not run it that way.

BTW, I found a used exhaust system on ebay for my 750 twin for $50.

found the pproblem last night!

my buddy put the cams in wrong! the arrows were in the wrong spots, got the engine fired up last night!

thanks again for everyone's help!

(the clutch problem fixed itself after it got running)
