With some help from a neighbor (1973 Z1 Neighbor!) We pulled the engine out and put it on my multi-million dollar engine workstation.

Head bolts - Out! Didn't forget the 10mm head bolts on each end either.
Pried until I bruised my pride. I even managed to put a crack in a fin! Gentle!!

The hammers of Thor. The leaky-ringed, carbon covered, gas soaked hammers of Thor anyways. Nice glue job on the base gasket, Kawasaki factory. I think I got most of the grit out of the area with the shop vac, noting to not suck up any of the little spacers that hold the cam chain sprockets/spacers in the head.
