That is excellent advice, and I was remiss in not saying so.

Maybe you can get an impact driver that will fit the head of the easy out you you can whack it and try to free it up as you are twisting it.

The stuff is "CRC FREEZE OFF Super Penetrant"
It uses COLD instead of heat to break the seal between the two metals .

Speaking of penetrants, Kroil is the best stuff I have used. You can get it in liquid or spray.

what about welding a nut on what is left of the plug?the heat will help loosen, while the nut will give you something to crank on.just a thought.

What brand plug was it, and was it really old or rusted? I've never heard of a plug breaking the way yours did. I once had one so tight in an old Ford truck that I had to use a 3' breaking bar to get it out. The hex head started to round out, and the outer part of the porcelain snapped, but it did come out.

Being a mechanic I've seen wrong spark plugs installed that were too long and the threads protruded into the combustion chamber. Trying to remove these plugs after extra threads got coated with carbon usually resulted in stripped threads in head, or plug does not come out and head must be removed.

great idea Bounty. my impact driver has a square end that will except a socket. so u could likely fing a socket to fit over the extractors end.
thanks Bounty . i will keep that 1 for future use myself.

First thing you need to do is throw that can of WD40 in the trash. It is not a penetrating/lube oil like everyone leads you to believe. PB Blaster, LPS 2, Breakfree, are the way to go. Follow the advice posted above.....chris3
