As far as I have been able to determine, all 650's used the same size valves, and all 750's used the same (larger) size valves.
One of the GPz750 FAQ webpages (one is or was listed in the "LINKS" section, but I don't know where that went) had some discussion of 750 combustion chamber size, but I have not run across anything on 650 combustion chamber size (just that it's smaller than the 750's).
Do a search for GPz750 FAQ on Google.
The only reference to Vance and Hines 750 cams that I have read was an ad on eBay that had GPz750 cams listed as "Vance and Hinzes".

I went to the V&H site, they do make cams but nothing listed for KZ750, I guess I will have to measure them, I have a set of 83 GPZ cams and some stockers, I'll have to compare. I got a 750 head comming I'll have to measure that also, here's another question and found a thread in the archives, a 750 jug will fit in a 650 block with the hyvo chain with no mods (81csr 650), true? the jug I have is a 1980 (750) and used the older chain setup, will it work on the 81 engine or do I have to get another(later) jug, can I use the 84 750 head with it ? 810 on the way I guess(hope)

I have a 1993 V&H catalog, and it does not list cams for the 750.

Yes, that is true, may have to clean up the bores in the case a little, but I don't think so.
Let me guess, you saw the provisions for the roller cam chain guides on the 1980 KZ750 head and assumed that it used a roller cam chain, right??
You have just discovered the secret for building an 810 out of a pre 81 650, use a 1980 KZ750 cylinder block. "But", all the KZ750's used the HyVo style chain, the 1980 KZ750 cylinder block appears to be based on the 650 casting and Kawasaki left the roller chain provisions in the block.
I have two 1980 KZ750 motors at the moment, and both have HyVo cam chains with the mounting locations still there for the roller cam chains, and I have one 1981 KZ750 motor, and it doesn't have any place to mount the roller chain parts.
By the way, Kawasaki also left the pads for the idler sprocket mount on the 750 heads all the way up through the 85 GPz750, they just didn't drill and tap the bolt holes.
If you have a 81 KZ650 CSR, you should be able to just bolt the entire 750 (KZ or GPz) top end on it.

Glad that I could help
You know that a GPz750 oil pan and oil cooler will bolt right on your motor with no mods required? That's an easy upgrade that may be needed.
I'm waiting for my 810 pistons to arrive also

I have a 78 650 pan with oil cooler lines, fittings, and some kind of aftermarket cooler I'm planning to use.... My 78 SR650 will be ready for its debut sometime in the spring, it has an 84 700 engine with GPZ cams, dyno jetted carbs, 4 to 1 exhaust, H1 500 front forks, clubman bars, done cafe style, waiting for the seat to be upholstered and final assembly, the 810 will be comming from the huge pile of parts I've been gathering, the 750 twin blew its engine for me but with 148K on it I can't be real upset, it poped the head gasket and oil flow to the cams stopped, I have all new stuff for rebuild and got the jug bored but need time for it(pics in gallery)
