As for my new seat!... I had that made from a friend here is his websit, www.Davesvcu.com
He built the seat to my specks, I had him lower it, put a gel insert in and take 1.5 inches out of the back suport and cover it in Ostridge skin. I will have the back seat sone soon.

...sounds kind of dumb, but when I got this thing running again, i added just a BIT too much oil, so it smoked. Even though i used the stock fill marks correctly. Just let a bit out, and now its fine.

Good god that is a sweet looking ride! Glad to hear that it stopped smoking. Were you able to finish it so quickly because you had all the parts ready to go before starting? What all did you do while rebuilding it?

If it's running rich itwill cause some white smoke, especially cold. Very nice looking!

Just a thought here... have you compared the voltage across Battery (+) and Battery (-) to the voltage across coil input and Battery (-)?

If they are not almost the same you have wiring and or connector losses.

Symptoms include:
- The mixture can appear to be too rich,
- The bike can be harder to start,
- The plugs can be sooty black and,
- The exhaust can be cloudy and smell of gas.

Solution:
Might be time for new wires and or connectors and or the WG Coil Re-powering mod.

Best of success!

did you replace valve seals in the rebuild? bad valve seals will let some oil leak in while the bike is sitting then when you start it....white smoke until that oil burns off.

If you replaced them in the rebuild then yeah it probably is just a bit rich, check the plugs.

I did replace the seals. and i have ordred the # 70 and 140 jets for the carbs, the engine run smoother after ajusting the air fuel.

Have not checked the voltage, I will look into that as soon as i get a volt checker.
