650/750 head gasket was created by mariozappa
Using the new and improved Kawasaki Parts Diagrams, I came across identical part #'s for a 650 head gasket and a 750 head gasket.
part #11004-1107.
which was replaced by a newer part # 11004-1268
I was unaware this gasket would be the same on a slightly larger displacement engine.
Is this correct or could there be an error on the website?
The part # was listed the same for many (but not all) 650's and 750's.

I guess it's possible. On the 650 it would be just a tiny bit bigger with no ill effects on the engine?

When I got my cometic it was universal for 650 and 750. the diameter difference is like 1mm the whole way around, cometi=c said there is no problem, they know there stuff.

I don't know if this helps, but the original part # for the '77 KZ650 head gasket was 1104-073 then replaced by #11004-1005. These are from my old parts catalogs. If anyone has an old KZ750 catalog it would be interesting to see the original #'s for it. Ed

Bdog is right.

In my best Canadian accent

There is aboot 1mm (if that) difference all the way around the inside cylinder of the gasket.
The 750 gasket sits aboot 1mm out from the edge of the sleeve while the 650 gasket comes right up to the edge of the sleeve.
