Just got off the horn with my "PRO" and he told me a needle was snapped off and stuck in one of my carb jets, hence the lean running condition! He cleaned and repaired the carbs and now I supposedly have a KZ again.
That will be the LAST time I trust my carb work to family. Thanks for ALL the insight you guys gave me.
Excuse me while I go kick myself in the saddle squasher.

Hi. It's me. I'm back.

Picked up my bike after paying for services rendered.
Rode about twenty wonderful minutes, and the gremlin returned. I barely got it back to the shop. My pro was P.O.ed. Looks like I'm just gonna have to forego another riding season.

go buy a dyna ingnition and install it.
one of my 650's did the same thing with intermitten spark problums and i chased it what seemed like forever.
gave up and installed a dyna from z1enterprises and problum was solved.
someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.

Well, picked up my bike Fri. nite. Sat till Sun morning when I took it for an hour+ ride without incident. Again
Sun. nite ride was good. Got the culyanze to bring it to work, and it rode flawlessly. My pro said to stay away from cheap gas. So I've been putting the premium in and all's well. Still getting oil out the crankcase breather though, but not too much. Thanks to all who helped.
