My bone stock bike after sitting for 15 years put out 75hp at the rear wheel. You should have at least 100rwhp. I need to take mne back down to the dyno and see what she is putting out now. I am not expecting huge numbers but if I lost power I am going to be pissed

My 1075cc 81-J motor build from Advantage Motor Works in Mansfield Ohio, is now 1/2 paid for and just a couple weeks away from being done

Wiseco 1075 10.25:1
Decked, flowed GPz1100 head
Cam Motion Z4 grind cam
Totally fresh top end, springs, seats, Serdi 3 angle job
APE Manual Cam Chain tensioner
WG Carbs worked Mikuni BS34 CV's
Dyna-S and 2 x 3Ohm coils

I have a buddy with two full dyno setups in his garage, A/F sniffers, PC's, printers, bike blowers/fans (yeah really! (VMax on juice nut)) and hope to eventually dyno the motor maybe in July or August...

Will definately let everyone know!

I doubt 100 RWHP with stock head and cams. Probably close to that at the crank with maybe 80-85 RWHP. Depends on the Dyno.

Biggest bang for the buck at this point is cams, even drop in cams will wake that thing up. Porting the head without adding cams won't buy you much. You want to get to at least convergance lift for 36mm Intake valves which is .354". Right in the drop in cam lift zone. That also corresponds to the lift where the stock head signs off on flow. Get the picture?

Brian, did Jim from Redline do all the work or just give you the carbs? They do very good work there. They only work on Kz900 and up. I used to work there about 20 years ago. They used to work on all Kaw's at the time. I might bring my carbs there for a thorough cleaning.
