will a .410 lift cam clear in a J head without needing clearancing?

no pics, but IIRC you can do it yourself with a dremmel, no need for machining. just remove material where the cam lobe would hit the head or valve cover

Be careful to NOT get way down in the tappet bore. Too much material removed contributes to bucket rocking.
