Ignition, battery, coils, wiring, a switch, some fuses, a reg/rec, etc... what are you looking for?

Do you have the wiring harness from the bike? You will need ignition voltage for coils, regulator rectifier from stator to charge battery. If you have the complete bike and go under the left side cover where the start solenoid is. I think you will only need the wiring from the blue and white conenctors and just rewire the coils to a switched power and a switch for the solenoid to start it. If you have the harness you could probably unplug the other stuff and take the whole plate with the regulator recitfier and fuse panel out with all the connections intact. What exactly are you working with to start?

You can find a wiring diagram on line. IIRC there is one in the filebase which is under the kz information heading on the forums tab bar.
If you're not just hacking, it's a good idea to get the factory service manual. Try addall.com for used.
If your frame is straight and has a title and you're not too far from Atlanta, I'd be interested in it.

IIRC = if i recall correctly
You will need more than just coils, but you can get new coils at Z-1 for $120. You are also going to need the regulator/recifier if you plan on charging the battery. That will be a little tougher, but aftermarket ones are available I think. I take it you do not have the wiring harness from the bike then? Life would be much simpler if you could just hack apart the wiring harness and take the whole electrical panel with you. I think anyway.

get it mounted up in your project and find a good spot to mount your electrical stuff then just connect the dots,if you dont run any lighting or anything like that it will be really simple;)
