Hey Bandit! I didn't know you had a SR. Your pipes are looking good, keep those on there man, they make the bike look good

1979 KZ SR650, stock candy persimmon red and crossover pipes
1981 KZ 1000LTD with non stock and more comfortable handle bars and 4 into one V&H

I have the Pipes off now and Im polishing the crap outta them..Some pitting after 29 yrs but they are really cleaning up.Ill post the after pics when I get back to town nexr wknd

Mine are a little dirty from road dirt, what are you polishing them with?

Looks good.

I've never had any trouble with the Zip ties. Just keep an eye on them for breakage. Mine has been on for many years trouble free.

if you use the black ones, the uv will not esat them up, they last a long time

The black ones came with the kit.Im using Flitz and Blue away then regular chrome polish to finish it off.The high speed buffing wheel works the best.
Is there a trick to install the pipes with all those spacers?

How and where did you connect the oil lines to the engine?

1980 KZ750-H1 (slightly altered)
1987 KZ1000-P6 "Ponch"
1979 GS1000 "Dadzuki"
