Meg Drop Soup

20 Jul 2022 10:04 - 20 Jul 2022 10:05

Hey guy's, and gal's if there are any...

Man, I thought my new master link cam-chain broke yesterday...sh it happened on a city street a few blocks from home, and fortunately not on the highway a short distance further.

Thankfully that wasn't the problem.

A nut fell off, and hell broke loose thereafter...

There seems to be a reluctance to mention "which nut" specifically

In my career as an electrician, I have done some pole line work. I always brought up the pole, my parts plus my drop factor. The higher the pole, or the smaller the part,  the higher the drop factor. Usually  about 1.25 makes a good drop factor. There was never any soup involved.

My son was working on my brakes last week. My grandson walks over and asked what wrong with the car. My son said “there’s a loose nut behind the steering wheel” jokes just aren’t as funny when you need to explain them.

Do check your nuts for tightness...especially the one you use to secure your megaphone to the rear footrest bracket.

The meg section followed that nut to the road and ended up about a hundred feet behind the bike.  It got one big dent and several scuffs and scratches as it slid across the pavement.

All in all, I managed to straighten it up pretty good.
