Have fun. They cancelled bike week here in PS because of what happened in TX. :(

There should be a KZRider "meet n greet" somewhere within a day's ride of most folks. Or and East coast in the early summer and West coast in the fall meet.

After all these years, that is still a problem. Old prejudices die hard.

Its lightened up a bit. I would gladly ride my bike through there. They can look down their nose at me if they like but I have spent many hours and hard work on my bike. A real biker appreciates all bikes not just HD. Being assembled here doesn't mean its American made anymore. And if it does..... well, mine was "assembled" here right in my garage and its the only one like it.

Sturgis is officially Harley town. Why spend your money there.
www.latimes.com/business/autos/la-fi-hy-...-20150114-story.html

Harley Davidson motorcycles are just the most expensive accessory of a Harley rider's manhood costume. Add up all the other accessories to that costume like the jacket, do-rag, tee-shirt, boots, tattoos, etc and it might just add up to the price of the bike.

I couldn't own a Harley. I'm just not ready for that kind of commitment. Besides, I'm sure I could never talk my bride into getting a Harley tattoo.
Nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect.

I didn't know the LA Times was a Liberal rag. With all the crap it downloaded I barely was able to read the article. It took 5 minutes for my machine to recover after I closed it. My Harley jacket (MADE IN CHINA IN 86) is starting to fall apart. It cost $450 then. The Harley's of the time were made in Japan by AMF. They don't talk about that.
I'll pass.

Im with you Leon, Great quote , and VERY True.
Les Holt and I do some Bike shows together and we blow away the Harley boys.
Most old time riders, started during the muscle bike times and WE All rode big 4 Kaws, Hondas , and Suzukis.
They come over to Les and I and talk about their roots, and most real bikers started on our kind of bikes.
Now the posers lover to act like they are all bad ass because they ride a expensive new Harley , and are new to riding , but since they had 25 thousand dollars to get into biking they must know it all. It gets pretty entertaining
I still enjoy my Harley Electra Glide, but my roots and first love is my bad ass LTD Turbo
