Harper's Ferry

Rode out to Harper's Ferry today. I find it interesting that stone bridge abutments don't withstand the test of time (and floods). Ed

Ancient bridge abutments:

Nice shots Ed B)
Water is a very powerful force, add many years of ice + Spring thaws to it and it's time for new bridge :P

Nice pictures Ed! How long of ride is it for you? Looks like a nice small little down that hasn't been commercialized with national chain stores.

Thanks. I ran about 150 miles round trip, but I took a few scenic back roads that added probably 50 miles or so. Ed
