Big sur/highway 1 ride...few pics

had the day off and it was warm inland...so we grabbed a camera and went to big sur for lunch...foggy/sunny/cold/warm...it is about 2-8 micro climates as you ride to the coast and up and down the mountains .....











this couple rode this bmw f800 i think for 14000 miles...from the tip of Chile i believe...little language stumbling but the wife spoke enough english to correct me when i said 1400 miles...she said no 14000

God I miss it there. I lived in big sur for about a year and worked/lived at the esalen institute, from Carmel to Cambria is absolutely amazing to look at. There is a road that tee's into the PCH just north of the trading post that I believe is where you got the tubing pictures at. Nacimiento (sp.?) road is also really pretty over to hunter-leggett, it's just really treacherous since its not much more than a fire road. Thanks for depressing me.
