Throwback Thursday
Yesterday 08:35
This is a 900 I purchased in the early 1980's in Brooklyn, NY. If I recall correctly, I only paid a couple of hundred dollars for it. The bike was spray-painted in my living room using spray cans paint from the hardware store next door. Those were the good old days.
The second picture was taken on 1985 on my way to Phoenix, AZ from Brooklyn, NY. The third pic was taken in 1987, when my sister traveled from overseas to visit the missus and me.

My first Z1 was the 1974 model, brown/orange colors. Looking back, I made a huge mistake selling that bike. I wish I had more pictures, but back then I wasn't into photography, and maybe one or two of my friends had cameras.

This picture was taken in 1986 or 87 in Raceway Park, Englishtown, N.J. I was hanging out with a New York friend. If I am not mistaken, he was riding a 1980 KZ 1000 LTD.

I used to have one of those floor engine stands from Harbor Freight. Those things were very handy and heavy.

The Only polaroid picture i have, i never saved or took photos back when. Taken in Phoenix, AZ about 1998. The one of many Z's i had, 1974. And a couple of my 5seconds of fame. I was centerfold in the VJMC rag about 10yrs ago. Write-up by my Friend Mark Bayer, KCMO VJMC Chapter President.
