Hi Kofla,
Yes, there's a great motorcycle and classic car parts market here on April 4th.
Spring is always wonderful, I wish you lots of fun and a great season!

Say it ain't soo Kofla! Snorting Norton, restoring a 1973 Commando 750. Same mechanical but those British bikes are SOO different!! Well..nobody wanted/interest in the KZ900 laying around. Going to send my Friend the often missing pieces from "someone's" "Mod" project that went South, ha. Have a couple chop saws left over from my construction days, will take all of 20 seconds to ruin/dissect it.. unfortunately. Cleaning-up the yard for Spring.

Clay, Norton and Triumph motorcycles are the stars on this event, but all brands are well represented. Their website has listed photos and videos of previous gatherings.

Clay, it´s shame to cut this good and functional frame in pieces,..to bad that are no interrests for this...another original frame is gone now..
( My friend Jorge would have been happy about the rear section behind the shock mounts....)

01 Mar 2026 08:34Love seeing old pics. Not common back then, as it is today!
I did a valve check for a Buddy’s Z1.
He told me to stand behind my bike and he got out his Polaroid camera. 😂

My 1974 Z1A, which I built from parts in 1990... back in the "good old days," I was lucky enough to find a complete 4-4 exhaust system and a complete original '74 paint set for this motorcycle very cheaply within a week... I've always regretted selling it in '91... (like so many "Z" sales), but sometimes you need that money for another project... same old story!

Joe, the 1974 Z1 in those colors has always been my favorite. Selling my 1972 Kaw 750 triple and the 1974 Z1 are my two biggest regrets.

Kofla,... unfortunately we can't and couldn't keep everything we once had... I definitely had eight Z1s, mostly '73s, but my '75 Z1B, which I drove for 20 years, was the best... My favorite was always the '75 Z1B in red-brown/gold/black, but I "only" had the "blue" version... You can't have everything
