I guess some people just have "too much money" !!! This 48 cyl stroker is an amazing piece of engineering and I commend Simon Whitelock on putting it together and making it run, however $114k for a virtually un-ridable 600kg display piece seems absurd !!!!!

That is way less than the builder said he wanted on it, I guess he came to his senses. Still I agree that's crazy money for what it is.
If you watch the YouTube video on how he built it, he used copper plumbing fittings to make the intake manifolds!

As a Chopper guy who is ok with changes......YUK!!
I like to "PLAY " with pieces that are already modified that are no longer stock.
These pieces can be found for every model/make that are no longer correct for restoration.
But THAT IS UGLY!
