For decades I've found that as long as they're both well fed they get along fine.

Come on guys, please don´t talk so discriminatory about an American bike made and developed with proud.
Own, driving and modify a HD is cult and a state of art here in Europe. Please respect my decision..... :( :( :(

I wouldnt worry at all about the comments .
Most are in jest , And those that are not , Well read between the lines OK
We have a lot of members here that share our position on multiple brands and are also HD owners and riders .
I wont challenge the nay Sayers to a debate or fight , but rest assured I have a DELETE button and will use it if needed.
I lovingly refer to my HD as my Geezer Glide and that is its place . Luxury cruising between Arizona and Michigan .
My LTD would have killed me physically on such a trip. I tried to make it a fun for me interstate rider but it didnt work out
That is why I have my HD. I grew up on a 71 XLH Sportster and it was a city bike and a poor long distance bike.
Some like Honda and other cruisers , but my butt likes the whole feeling of my Electra Glide .
Loose the undeserved hate and keep it nice

Just wait till one of us buys that electric Harley in the dealership picture you posted.
Some here will have to wear helmets to keep their heads from exploding .
Range is a big limiting factor still on that model
Some truths about Harley ownership Their is no such thing as a stock Harley. As every owner will do something to the bike starting with the first piece of chrome LOL.
All Harley riders think that since they changed the air cleaner they now own the worlds fastest Harley.
If a Harley rider puts money into the motor they now own the worlds fastest motorcycle LOL
True quick story. I know millions of bikers and motorcyclist. One patched biker who owns a shop by me setup one of his brothers as a joke.
This guy put a big bore kit , cams, and pipes on his scooter. AS a younger club member my buddy wanted to teach him a lesson .
He quietly told me after the younger guy was bragging for to long to go get my Turbo Kaw.
I came back on the Turbo Kaw and the club members told him he should race me on the old Kaw.
We all had a good laugh as the braggart learned a valuable life lesson
So to all you non harley guys , I hope you liked my story. But that doesnt change the fact that
HD still has a place in our world. Different , but of value.
See you on the road
Dave

I'm both too! I have Harley Ink in my body. No Kaw ink!
1st Kaw was 1977 then about 25 of them after that till now.
Bought my 75 FLH in 1981. Still own it. Saved my life in 1990 when a left turning idiot stopped my going 45-50 mph.
Passenger got a broken leg in car. I lived! Lumped up in hospital for a week. I Thank God daily for that Big old 800 # bike.
I don't ride much any more. 2 spinal surgeries. Lumbar & Cervical.
All motorcycles are cool! a little history of the same FLH

This picture was taken yesterday. I'm painting this all black. Getting it close to a track beater bike. Taking this big motor off. And going to run a 1075. Want the old late 70's early 80's look. I have 20 projects, and nothing gets done! But it is my sanity! 365 days a year. Dam pictures making me crazy!
Climate controlled heat and cool! t]

I owned 2 Shovelheads in my past. First was a brand new '84 FXSB Low Rider. Maybe because I was a victim of H-D adverts in Easyrider mags I had been reading for 5 yrs. It got stolen before I returned to the US. I was in the USAF stationed in W. Germany riding a new R-100RS BMW at the time. Returned in late '87 and got a used '78 FX SuperGlide. Rode that until it got stolen. Bought a '73 Norton Commando 850. It didn't get stolen. I still want to build a 80"ci Knucklehead and put it in an '85 Softail frame.
I don't have a plan and I'm sticken' to it! '77 KZ 650 / 750 GPz custom project in progress
