I think that this is the right place to ask this. I want to change my motorcycle sound to a little deeper sound. I have no exhaust/tip on the mufflers *see picture* what do you recommend guys. (Old photo my baby is way more cleaner now). Kz 750 ltd 1982 4-1

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAre those straight through pipes? If so, first thing to do is add a muffler. Some sort of glass packed type will kill some of the loudness and deepen the tone.

Glass = fiberglass wrapped muffler baffle.
Find some mufflers you like that have baffles like this inside... www.mapcycle.com/categories/exhaust/muff...5-8-1-3-4-pipes.html

It’s not cheap the Kerker system....
Is there other options?
I assume the Kerker system is high quality?

There are a lot of different types of exhaust for your bike. if you Google "Kawasaki kz after market exhaust" you will get a lot to choose from, with a lot of prices to choose from. You should be looking for one with a baffle. I Personally Like Vance and Hines.

23 Dec 2018 09:27 - 23 Dec 2018 15:08What Perry said! "The wrong kind of attention". LOL I was already getting that BEFORE I put on my Delkevic exhaust. I did not re jet for it since I left all of the baffles intact, although I think it could use a slight increase in the main jet, (lean is mean). I have not experienced any sputtering, and it runs like a bat outa hell, like it always has. It is also almost half the price of most of the other systems. I did not see it anywhere on the packaging, but I assume it is made in china like most everything else is now days.
It is considerably louder than the stock system, and has a deep knarly mean sound. I think it sounds more like this bike >should< sound. It is quite the transformation from the stock system . The Stainless turns yellowish within a few minutes of run time, compared to chrome, so all you need to do is adopt the mindset that yellow is the NEW chrome look.
It is also a breeze to change the oil and filter (the stock system was in the way), AND the center stand can be left intact, especially since a motorcycle jack can no longer be used on it.
