1 All roller bearing lower end
2 Duel overhead cams
3 Babbitt cam bearings (replaceable}
4 Shim over valve lifters
5 Replaceable engine covers (protects the cases in case of crash)
6 Starter can be replaced from the outside
7 Plenty of room for overbore
8 Cases can be split without removing the top end
9 Rock solid transmission
10 Bullet proof 630 O ring chain
11 Handles like a smaller bike (Unlike the 750 Four that felt like riding on a log)
12 Heavy enough to not be thrown around by the wind or passing trucks
13 Timeless styling
Am I missing something?
I like the smaller fours but I'm glad they over engineered the big ones. B)

I agree with the reasons Steve,
The one thing that has proved itself after all the decades is Timeless Styling.
The endless comments at bike shows and meets. The wows at any stop for gas or eats.
Kaws still rule the land .

Who would have known I'd still have my Z1 after 43 years. A massive crash, three complete overhauls and it still runs like new. The Honda 750 Four had top end oiling problems and would ruin the head. (no replaceable cam bearings) It was common for all makes and still is..
These engines were built to last a lifetime. B)
