I used ALL of my luck up yesterday morning. was created by Nightdriver
I was riding to work yesterday and had a 6point buck come blasting out of a cornfield and just clipped my left elbow and knee.
He did make a little more of an impact on the trunk, breaking the lid. So now I'm looking for either a new one or a similar vintage one off ebay.
While it was happening I was able keep in mind to look to where I needed to go and roll more power on to minimize the impact.

I was on a logging road at 25 MPH when a deer came out of a reine, ran along side and crossed right in front of my tire. They're big rats and deserve to be eaten. IMO

I think she right! I notice that the folks who manage such things have removed all the chicken crossings from major roads and that has drastically reduced the number of vehicle / chicken collisions, so why not eliminate the deer crossings? Ed

And these people VOTE!
I live near Portland, Oregon and my rider is a '76 KZ900 I bought new. I'm also in the process of restoring another one and a '73 Z1.

EDIT: Alternate possibility - she was trolling & they played along. If so, kudos to the caller for keeping a straight "radio face".

I've heard that radio bit before.
Around here, Buffalo County Wi, the entire area can be considered a deer crossing .
As far as looking for a replacement trunk there is one I'm thinking about instead of finding a vintage one off ebay or craiglist
Trunk
Anyone have real world experience with it?
Otherwise I have all winter to find a different KG one

Let me know if this interests you. I got PICs, but I'll need to "dig it out" if you have any questions the PICs can't answer.
It's got a few scratches from being moved, but looks to have never been mounted. Side opening. It's not a small box...
No idea what it's worth... open to offers.
edit: PM sent.
