cruise control was created by tthunderdan
To help my numbing hand issue (which is getting less troublesome over time I think) I have devised a cruise control...crude but effective, and cheap...
It's just a key shaped piece of plastic I had laying around and I wedge it in the throttle, just enuf tension to hold it open where I set it....

Not a bad idea...... I put one on years ago that was pretty cheap (forget the brand) that goes on and off with the flick of a lever.... one of my favorite things I've ever bought .......shacking out or resting that tingling hand or scratching that itch has made me happy a thousand times since I got mine.

Mine came with this one. Well worn, but still works! Just waiting for the old brittle plastic to break. Has happened before.

I wrapped a 75lb zip tie around the grip. Pull the throttle back, posh the zip tie until it rests on the brake lever. Enough tendon to hold the throttle, but still slips if I need to throttle down.

Bought mine for a little over $21 in the 90's. Had to put a bolt in it last year and I use it all the time. I get strange looks as I ride by with my hand off the throttle. They really flip out when I take both hands off the bars. Wouldn't go without one.
