Playing with it in the van. When I view it from my computer the video is real clear but on U-tube
it doesn't seem as clear.

Looks pretty good. Sometimes they have glitches. Using their corrections doesn't cut it.

They are even more awesome when U can plug them directly into modern flat screen TV's with an HDMI cable. Especially via HiDef systems.
Almost like watching in 3D.

Mike with a mini HDMI cable it'll plug in my flat screen tv.
Got over to the shop this morning and got the handle bar mount setup.
The bar mount has no way to swivel and I was worried about it being on the bar
after the bend and it would point to the side a little but there was just enough between the bar clamp and the bend.

Misting rain and fog test ride to see how stable it was.
.
And NO that is NOT what my motor sounds like standing next to the bike.
Also got the helmet mount on in what I think "might" be in the right place but didn't ride using it.
Theres an app. for it that will allow me to control the camera from my phone and I think I'll be able to live stream to Facebook.

Ya handlebar cams can really distort engine sounds from the vibration coming up through the frame/bars etc. I have even detected the sound of my tire gauge rattling inside my tail tray! I have 2 different helmet mounts also. The helmet cam vids have noticeably less vibration and obviously afford more moveability, but the wind resistance at highway speeds for any length of time can really stress one's neck. You may know all that already. I've made tons of GoPro vids on my bikes and tried different mounts. Nice to chat with others and share ideas and tips of what works for them and what doesn't. Good luck with yours, you'll get a ton of fun out of it. My only drawback is how much space the MP4 files (of the GoPro's format) take up when storing on discs or hard drives. Even if you have a 64G micro SDcard already, you may as well buy a spare 'cuz it'll be full before you know it if you do much riding LOL, unless you store vids somewhere else and delete from your card to free up space. Enjoy!!!

I've been using a 16G card. About 180 minutes. I have a 32G in my laptop that I save the ones I want to keep. The rest I upload to YOUTUBE or delete. Behind the windshield is the best place to lessen wind noise but it also seems to magnify the exhaust sound. Like my neighbor said, it doesn't do the bikes sound justice. :(

Got out after work for a test ride with the helmet mount screwed the pooch on aiming it
but now I've got a base line of where it needs pointed.
Here's a day light ride I'm still loading the night ride back to the shop.

That's a start. :) Trial and error. You'll have it all dialed in in no time! Most of my vids are up to 15 mins long of my fave rides. Here's one going down the mtn if U care to see my hb cam quality.

Mike I got the app. for it loaded on my phone today it let's me see what the camera is seeing
plus full control of all functions. I used it to take this pic of my phone with the app. opened.

I'll do a zip tie temp. mount on the tach to go ride around the back streets and move the camera around till I like it.

I'm thinking the aiming is going to depend on what bike and how I'm riding.
Aiming it for street riding the drag bike is not gonna be the same as rubbin nipple's on the gas cap at the track.
I've got three bikes I plan to use this on my KZ650 at the track, The 99 ZRX1100 for acting a damn fool street riding (that kindda bike) and the 01 C-10 Connie for burning up a 7 gal. tank to go have a beer way over yunder.

Mine is WiFi too. I don't have a smartphone though. It came with two doors, one water proof and the other for general shots. If I didn't have the windshield, I'd be using the waterproof one to cut the wind noise. B)
