Needed new mirrors cause the ones on the bike when I got it sucked.Ordered new ones from Z1 parts and they suck louder. They look fine, stems, they came with long and short, seem to be good quality but they vibrate so bad if a car behind me doesnt have its lights on I cant see it.When they have their lights on I can just see big circles of light behind me.Oh well,ya get what ya pay for.

Did you try to return them? My stock ones were lousy too. I stuffed some foam in them. I have chrome ones now. They were a little blurry too. filled the bars with RTV and put balance weights in the ends. That helped a lot. B)

My stock black plastic ones blurred up like that on my KZ900's. Certain spots in the rpm range was worse than others, but still sucked in the good zones. Tried the buffer in the gaps too with little success. I swapped to the chromeish ones and difference was like night and day. I can almost read the license plate of the car following me now if I tried to. Not sure why so much of a difference but the chromeish ones worked for me.

Actually I had them quite a long time from some parts from a KZ650 I once had. I have not noticed an outlet for them or I probably wld get another pair if they're equal quality. If I happen across some I will post the info.

After the wreck I tried the square black ones. They were just as bad as the stock ones. I then bought these. Not too cheap and I got them in 96. Thinking of filling them with silicon as well. B)

Interesting, the stock black mirrors on my KZ1000MKII are fantastic, The stock round shape shiney mirrors on a KZ650 are also very good, nowhere near the black plastic mirrors. Aftermarket? I laugh or throw up or both at the same time. Most if not all can be made to look just like OE, but the iddiots never use convex glass (objects are closer than they appear) so you get a nice megnetized view of nothing behind you but your own shoulder and blur.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
