Looks nice but retro bikes (other than Harley's) tend to struggle in the marketplace. The Honda CB1100 was a failure on the sales front, in the USA anyway.

Very nice! Interesting, but...
Show us a centerstand or lugs where an optional one will mount and we'll have something to consider. No centerstand + chain drive = deal breaker.
Good Ridin'

The big problem for me with the recent retro bikes is the relatively high prices and lack of horsepower / performance and personality - basically they are boring. And the price is only a few thousand below the price of a top of the line sports bike. If the Japanese made the standard style bikes the fastest and quickest things you could buy on two wheels, light weight, with ultra modern suspension, brakes, and electronics that make the R1, CBR-RR, Ninja, and GSXR's look slow, ugly, and overweight - they will sell many more of them worldwide. Still not as many as the H-D Softails and Road Kings though.
Foooooking trendies and biker wanna-bees.....
The only recent standard bike that I nearly bought (and still am thinking about picking one up used) is the 2010 Yamaha FZ1....that I like!

The spec sheet is what I'm waiting to see. At least the engine isn't entirely hidden with painted plastic like modern day sport bikes. Put some knobbies on that bike and I bet it would make a hell-of-a fun flattracker LOL. However I will save all judgments 'til I see one at the local dealer and can test ride it.
