Salvage yard finds. was created by GPzMOD750
I was at the local salvage yard and dug up these tanks in the tank shed.

I'm pretty sure this is a KZ550 tank I actually found it in the yard months ago and put it in the shed so it wouldn't get messed up. I'm shocked it's still there it looks like the paint is a bit scratched from being moved around in the piles of tanks but is in very-good to excellent condition.

There is also this KZ1000E tank It looks pretty good and has been lined, lower left has some rust on it and looks like it has been patched on the lower left corner, These tanks are hard to come by in any condition so it might be worth getting and restoring.

I can contact the yard and see what they want for these tanks. He actually told me $50 for the KZ550 tank once but I didn't need it. I can go over and see if he has changed his mind, He's an old guy and might not remember what he told me originally but I think it's very much worth that. Shipping a tank will probably be at least $40 anywhere CONUS but I'd be more than happy to go and make sure either of these tanks go to a good, loving home.

When I found this tank I t was next to 2 KZ550 frames of the same year. early 80s, late 81 manufacture date iirc, It may or may not have come off one of those frames.

It looks like an early 80s design, I'm pretty sure it's not a 750 or bigger tank due to the size of the tank and that it doesn't have provision for a gauge sender.
