Big VJMC rally coming to Prescott, Az in August!!!

I just joined the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club because they are having their annual West Coast rally in Prescott, Arizona this year!!! I have never been to one of their events before, but I heard they are something to see. The event is from August 26th to the 28th. They are having two group rides for all the vintage bikes. One on Friday, and one on Saturday. One of the rides will visit a vintage bike museum that I never knew existed somewhere near Prescott!!!

Plus they are having a vintage bike show on Saturday too. That is what really interests me. They usually have a pretty nice collection of vintage bikes at their shows. Since I live only a few miles from where they are having the bike show is (Star Island Motorsports, right on State Route 69 in Prescott Valley) I plan on showing a few of my bikes at their show. My KZ1000 Superbike project bike will be shown in public for the first time in 30 years!!!! I plan on doing all of us at KZR proud. If any of our members are free that weekend, why don't you come on up, and see the show, and say hello. Only problem right now is I have no way of transporting my bikes to the show. If anyone wants to help me on getting my bikes to this show with their car and trailer, it would be greatly appreciated!!! I do tip quite well too!!! If I do make to the show with my bikes, I hope you all stop by and introduce yourselves.

The end of August should be quite nice temperature-wise. I do plan on doing their group ride on Friday. Hope to see a few of you on the ride. Sounds like it will be a pretty cool weekend of fun in Prescott!!

Damn! I'm about to burn up just about all my vacation time.

If it wasn't for that I would jump on my grungy franken-bike and head that way. Hopefully they'll be others representing the KZ Riders, Utah Chapter!

I'd LOVE to go but riding my 77' KZ1000, with stock suspension and Kaw seat, 800 miles from Denver would literally kick my ass!! LOL

I'm here from Tucson to attend it! Sky Islands Motorsports is where the show is on SAT? I'll be there with camera and extra batteries in hand!

It was nice to meet you Saturday at the show. I am real bad on remembering people's names, sorry. Glad you got to see my bike in person.
