So in my true fashion I purchased a 1980 kz1000g, title vin matched the bike vin. No feul inj. I was told it was converted back to carbs, I'm fine with that.
Looking over the bike and checking numbers I'm wondering what I've actually bought.
The case number is Z1E-089233 (early 900?)
The head is stamped 1.015L.
And the cam cover ends are rounded, not squared off.

Help me out here, I need the what and why.

The valve cover looks like a early KZ 1000 that's bean ground to look like a Z1/KZ900. The head could be too being it has 6M exhaust studs. Are there any injector ports? Pics of both sides of the cases?
