He says he's a listing assistant. I thought they did away with that. Also personal contact information isn't allowed.

Well its for his buisness, and that is allowed. Doubt that one will sell for much the early ninjas can be found all over the place. Passed on one very cheap a while back. It's crankcase had been ventillated by a wayward connecting rod...

Now if it included a Kelly McGillis replica I might be tempted to bid. My office is less than a mile from Maryland Live Casino. If I'd have known, I might have stopped by to see the display. It would have been the first reason I ever had to go in the place. Those big Casinos aren't built on Winners. Lucky for them there's an unlimited supply of Losers around here.

Interesting bit of Trivia on the Top Gun bike. Notice there are no Kawasaki stickers on it anywhere. The studio wanted Kawasaki to give them the bikes for free. Kawasaki wouldn't do it. Apparently there were other manufactures willing to provide free bikes. Tom Cruise insisted that his character would only ride the fastest production bike available at the time. The studio ended up buying 2 GPz900, but removed all Kawasaki stickers for the film.

Their loss. Look how successful CHIP's was. It was the bikes, not the actors.

I had always wondered why they pulled the Kawasaki logos off it. Kind of a dumb move on Kawasaki's part. They did the same thing with Mad Max. The only loaned the bikes to produce the movie and then wanted them back. The prop-guys did not know this and modifed them to make the Toe-cutter and Goose bikes (which were identical except for the paint) and during the course of filming several others damaged. Kawasaki was outraged only half of them were returned.... another dumb PR move.

If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

Weren't they getting into their crotch rocket mode at the time and phasing out the KZ's?
