Thoughts on the GPZ1000RX?

Hey Folks. Had a deal come my way to pick up a non-running 87 GPZ1000RX. I know they only made them for 2-3 years before they were replaced... And they look to have more plastics then the other GPZ models of the same time.

Anyone done anything cool with them? I feel like I seem them more readily available junked than a GPZ900... Top Gun likely had a bit to do with that :woohoo:

I loved my 82 gpz1100. Rx is heavier though but comes with factory hand polished heads and perimeter frame. I think they are pretty cool looking too.
