Purple Passion GPZ 750 turbo was created by YYZ
Hi all,

New to the forum. I am the new owner of Purple Passion (well - as of about 4 years ago) - but just now getting out into the forum world. I know the guy that built this bike was (or still is) a member on this page - and I just wanted to let them know that the bike is doing great, and living just outside of Atlanta, Ga. Think the gentleman's name was Steve Smith. Anyways - here she is in her present state. Would like to converse with Steve and let him know what a fantastic job he did on this bike. From what I read, it was his brother Paul that built it, but regardless - she's a beaut - and fast as the bejeezus!

We were barking when they put on PCV valves. Didn't have a clue what was to come next. The fun stopped in 75 with cars/trucks, then they started looking at our bikes.

That's Steve Smith's old bike alright, good to see it went to someone who can appreciate it.

His brother Paul is technically still a member here, his handle is smithgpz (all lower case), but I haven't seen him post in years, his last login was in 2010.

Oh, and welcome aboard.

Edit: Did some googling, think I found Steve, his email is there in case you want to contact him:

Funny, the zx750 turbo is still the bike that gets some serious respect on the drag strip,

Even the arm wrenching GPz1100 always comes with the tagline 'but what you can get with a 600 supersports now'.

Strictly speaking, it is a zx750 turbo, the GPz bit gets added on but never by kawasaki.

OnkelB -thanks again -you made my day with that parcel ;)
