I have a 1976 KZ 900 in need of some TLC. Any suggestions for good mechanics or dealers who know these older bikes? I'm in Boston, but anywhere in New England would be okay.

Welcome. No interest in wrenching on it yourself? A field service manual and the help on here can get you through an entire rebuild. Just food for thought. ;)

Most dealers won't touch a older bike. If one does, be prepared to get hosed.

I know there is a shop that builds old triumphs in Nashua. Not sure they'd touch a kz though. You can also try barnstorm cycles in Spencer MA

Try contacting elr658 or kopcicle (sp?) over at the Kawasakimotorcycle.org site.
Both of them are highly knowledgeable & I think they're located in the Northeast somewhere. maybe Connecticut?
Jeff Saunders or someone else over at Z1Enterprises.com may have a lead or two. Z1Ent is in Upstate NY.
