how to identify model & engine was created by AIHrefugee
I searched but guess I didn't do it right because "no results". I am trying to identify which model and year bike this is, Some one mentioned it is a MkII, but I'm clueless. Manufacture date is 2/79 and VIN starts with a KZT00E and engine ser. is KZT00EE. It has a shaft drive, 160mph speedo and fuel gauge inside tachometer.

Here's the link to an earlier KZr thread discussing the differences:

Do you have a manual? If not you need to get one. Was it in a flood?

No manual yet, but I know to avoid the Clymers lol. No flood but was parked under Hackberry and Pecan trees for the last 6 years. The berries from those have an abhorrent effect on avian digestive systems, yuck. Put MMO in the cylinders today and put plugs back in, gonna wait a few days and see if can turn motor over, currently stuck.

You guys wanted pics lol here ya go. Long rib coming off the oil fill, and smog towers. I know this looks like a fry pie, but hey it was free. :) Means that I'll be able to put some money into and still not break the bank. Oh and title paperwork getting sent Monday morn. :)
