Sometimes, even a bad day is good was created by GregZ
Yesterday I decided to take nice ride, the weather was fantastic no rain for once. I set out for the lake shore and to find some old corvettes in a barn along with some old one lunger 1911-1913 Harleys.
The ride was great got sunburnt the old kaw runs like a rolex, perfect

I found the pole barn I have heard about and the gentleman showed me around, it was unreal... old 54 55 57 58 corvettes fulies 63 Split window coupes 65 Big block cars corvettes everywhere
There was a row of 1911-13 harles, Indians a Henderson straight four cyl. Parts parts parts parts
I didn't even ask to take photos. The guy has been a picker collector for 50 years ......He was on American pickers a couple weeks ago and it was a pleasure meeting him and seeing a portion of his collection. I was in this pole barn yesterday

And unfortunately on my way home I got a rear flat but luckily it was 1/2 mile from home. I had my nephew run over a air tank to get me home

So I parked the bike hopped in the corvette and met my dad at a local cruise night
Doesn't get any better then this !!!

Cool. Did you pick up a sheet metal roofing nail with the lead seal? We had a Lincoln log barn at Hole in the Hills. Old nails everywhere.

Running a classic car or bike one tends to meet some nice people along the way, and there is a lifestyle tag that goes along with it, even if you hadn't intended it.

I could spend £50.000 on a car and £10 000 on a sportsbike and it would get lost in the car park, spend a tenth of that on something interesting and it gets noticed.

When I had my 1972 Triumph Stag v8 I couldn't park anywhere without people looking at it and commenting on it. My ELR had that too, even cats and dogs used to like it.
