I don't understand why this can't be included, is it because he modified the frame with an Ocky strap (near the pedals).
Thanks Dave - again. Looking forward to your next choice.

Thanks BOZO
You dont have long to wait to see Aprils choice.
Broken pedal ? Hmmmmm
Probably get as many comments as a ELR three wheel chopper
Dave

PS I saw a real contender today , but it had no KZ heritage.
A guy had a pedal bike and he mounted a 2 stroke snow blower over the rear wheel for power. LMAO
His seat was a pad on top of the snow blower and he had a gas tank on the frame by the handlebars
His weight pushed the blower down onto the rear tire for a friction drive unit. To Funny
Maybe Les will post the pictures I sent him from my phone as I am unable to post from my antique phone
Real Redneck Classic

Welcome to April and our new BOTM.
A awesome buildup of a 80 KZ 550 into a ELR Clone built by my Buddy here in Michigan Tom !!!!
Tom bought this project bike for $50.00 Dollars and had a vision of how he wanted it
$1200.00 Dollars later and a lot of hard work he had a Kool little Hot Rod/ Modified ELR Clone
Tom took it down to the frame and added a 250 Ninja Mono shock , swingarm rear suspension
And braced and modified the frame as needed
Tom refurbished the body work and added the GPZ 550 1/4 fairing
THEN HE DID A AWESOME JOB WITH THE ELR CLONE PAINT JOB Nice !!!!!
Motor is basically stock with a PJ-1 Paint job and then added pods and a Ninja 600 pipe with some modification
Check out the custom rear sprocket !!! Tom is a machinist and made up this one off piece , NICE !!!!
Tom wanted to thank all the members here at KZR for their support and advise thru this 7 year project
I first saw this bike during our KZR Rally with the flag and remembered it as something very special
Tom says this a keeper and will never sell it
Thanks Tom for letting me share this Little Hot Rod with the membership as our April BOTM :woohoo:

Really nice, I had two 550's previously one was the GT550 shafty and the other was the Zepher 550 they were incredible around the city, smooth and fun. The only reason I sold them was because I had too many bikes and did touring Therefore keeping my bigger bikes.
You did a great job, it looks fantastic (I'll send my sprockets to you), as for the paint, well maybe I can fit the tank and parts for my next project in the same box.
