Well, for the moment the older model data has been restored on the Partzilla.com site. I can browse models all the way back to 1966. But as always they list many parts as "active" that are definitely no longer available.
It would be really nice to know why this is happening, and if this data will continue to be available.
At least for now... The part number search is a little iffy as the superseded information doesn't seem to be linked.

Wow, hope this (how Kawi is doing this site update/maint) is not indicative of how big biz site updates are working these days. Slow, laborious and so complicated it takes years for the update. Obviously not following the K.I.S.S. principle. There is an elephant in the room! Not impressed with the powers-to-be, who made the decision, in the first place. If it ain't broke... What a bunch of nincompoops! (restrained word) Guess they don't care that they are putting their customers "out"! ...but I should not be greatly surprised by this (inside) revelation. I know how the Corp world works/lives, they could care less about the owners of the ol'school KZ's. Don't forget about the bottom line, that does not include humans!
Cheers guys...

Same for me. 1984 is the earliest year I see. The data looks exactly the same as it did three months ago.
Based on zero progress in three months, it seems pretty safe to say the data is not coming back.
Adding the older model data is simply a database update. They have the data in PDF diagrams they've emailed to some folks, they just need to push it into the database. If they can't even bother to update the database, they are certainly not going to spent the time to modify the interface to add cross reference or "active" status information. I think we're on our own here.

It looks like that link is for the service manuals, not the parts diagrams.
