ya no kidding im used to bolt on's from my 5.0 mustang days lol. and iv just never thought of boring them out from some reason. iv got 2 550's i might have to play with one of those too. A loss of 2hp by adding those part is kind of surprising to me but also makes sense, if its just not able to make use of that extra flow whats the point.

so ya im scrapping the idea of the dyno-jet kit until i can afford the big bore kit and hope to find some mikuni carbs instead of my keihin double butter flys. but im going to have to put the exhaust on cause it just looks way too rad and weighs alot less than factory.

Back in the day (1983) the GPz750 guys found that if they added about 4 teeth to the rear sprocket that it made enough difference for them to keep up with the Honda 750 Interceptors -

65hp will do for me on my GPz750 project - if I feel the need to go tire spinning I'll break out the GPz1100 with the big bore kit ;)

My wife asked me if I still loved her - I said "Honey, I love you more than new carburetor boots ! "
