Top of tank has a dent and the seat has a seam rip. The seat is hard as hell (you think the Corbin is hard, HA) so she'll need to be re-upholstered, have a little cushion added at that time.

Doesn't even come close to my KZ regarding pulling but she runs well.... I'll go through the norm when purchasing a used bike such as compression and leak down testing, valve adjustments, timing adjustments, carb syncing, electrical measurements etc....

This is for two up riding w/wifey poo ( :pinch: ) so no performance building on her, just a strong running engine.

46K miles on her ...

People I have chatted with about the first generation Concours either loved or hated them,,,all agree that the OEM seat is terrible and to watch out for the sidestand, which has a tendency to allow the bike to roll forward and fall.

I had a first generation and hated it. It was a 1990 in red I bought new. I managed 1300 miles and that was well enough for me. Good luck on yours though, many others have different thoughts, just did not appeal to me.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I have had a 86 Concours and now a 01. I loved the 86 and the 01 even more. A great deal of parts, info and mods available. The bags are great.. Most put a bar riser on. I have added electric cruise, carb mods, HID light, driving lights, after market windshield (stock sucks) and other things. Bike is easy to work on other than all the plastic. Gets great mileage and has a large tank. This is a great forum for this bike. zggtr.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=v5jdkvks5b...dtk31p1v77&board=5.0 Enjoy.

I see it has a Rifle shield, driving lights, maybe a fork brace? Nice.

Just curious, how many brand new bikes have you bought in your lifetime?
